what is form magazine?

Form Magazine is a fictional lifestyle magazine company and their “Make It Noir” edition focuses around the nuanced stories and expressions of black fashion. I wrote the feature article about my friend, Jaya Tucker, and how she expresses her Christian faith within her fashion expression. 

Design-wise, I wanted to create a universe in which both the type and illustrations played off of who Jaya was as a person, all while also creating a cohesive and functional aesthetic for the magazine to follow.
